One of the greatest benefits is the increased appetite that comes along with the consumption of the drug. This has been used with cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy to enable them to eat again and maintain their strength through the difficult process.
Marijuana has been shown to be successful in the treatment of neurogenic pain, as well as having a host of benefits for those suffering from asthma and spasticity.

THC present in marijuana is promoted to relieve pain, control nausea and vomiting, and stimulate appetite in people with cancer and AIDS. Researchers also report that THC decreases pressure within the eyes, therefore reducing the severity of glaucoma.

Hi,,,
Yeah the THC present in the drug helps a person to get rid of pain.Marijauna was widely used once for the treatment of cancer patients but later on banned because of several reasons.Cancer, and cancer therapies and their side effects, may cause a variety of problems for cancer patients. Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, and anorexia and cachexia are conditions that affect many individuals with cancer.

Many people smoke marijuana for recreational purposes and compare it with tobacco and other drugs . But there are a lot of health issues associated with marijuana just as it is in the case of tobacco . Smoking marijuana can cause severe health risks on the long term , here are some of them :
Marijuana use can cause burning and stinging sensations in the mouth and throat, and heavy coughing might occur. The health problems in marijuana users are similar to what you can expect in tobacco users. Typical problems include susceptibility to lung infections, increased frequency of chest illnesses, obstruction in the airways, and daily production of cough and phlegm. Marijuana contains carcinogenic (cancer causing) hydrocarbons, and the smokers tend to hold the smoke deep inside their lungs for a longer time as compared to tobacco smokers. Thus, the lungs are exposed to these carcinogens for a prolonged period.
