What is manic depression?
Manic depression is where the person with the disorder will have rapid mood shifts from being Depressed to Manic these are usually very fast changes,
They tend to have a high rate of suicide because of this.

Manic Depression (bipolar disease) is basically like this,
Manic = Happy
Depressed = Sad
When they switch rapidly they often have mood swings and kill themselves,

Well, I'm from a country called Slovenia and it's in Europe for people who don't know. It's a really small country and I think we have like the highest suicide count on the size of the country. There have been really alot fo suicides this year and there maybe alot of manicly depressed people here as well.

manic means the lot of depression. some of the people have manic mood they get frustration so fast and they get hesitation through the manic and the result was suicide. but if the people get regularly symptoms doctor they give the valid reason to minimize the manic mood.
HI
Manic depressive refers to mood swings from overly “high” (manic) to overly “low” (depressed). Another name for manic-depressive illness is bipolar disorder. This refers to a person’s mood alternating between “poles” of mania (highs) and depression (lows).
