The main effects of smoking on a smoker’s teeth are that he will encounter dental and gum problems, or worst, loss of teeth.
According to the researchers the effects of smoking can be seen on the body’s immune system, which weakens the body’s capability to fight against infection.
Loss of Teeth and Gum Problems
The effects of smoking are that people who smoke a lot will certainly lose their teeth. Moreover, smoking initiates gums diseases. These gum diseases manifest swelling on the gum areas that finally lessen the strong teeth formation. It is in this stage that loss of tooth occurs.
Well some people argue that there is no relationship between the smoking and loss of teeth or gum problems. They further insist that actually inborn or innate in their genetic structure are responsible for these kind of dental problems. But their argument is totally wrong.
Plaque
It has been already proved by the studies that smoking can cause dental problems. Many dental problems, especially gum problems are caused due to smoking. This is because smoking triggers the accumulation of bacteria in plaque.
Actually the gluey white material that builds up on our teeth whenever we don’t brush our teeth is the plaque, is already a major factor in dental problems. Moreover like a double jeopardy, the smoking helps in bacteria formation in plaque. So when bacteria already thrive within the gum area, which will lead to inflamed gum.
Moreover, this will have an effect on jaw, thereby, speeding up the loss of the teeth. If not, it will soon be extracted because it at this stage that the teeth will progressively get worse. The gum diseases are silent killers of your teeth.
Method To Solve Teeth Problems
The first and foremost solution for these types of teeth problems is that the person should immediately quit smoking. If he doesn’t quit smoking, chances are there that any kind of treatment will just be useless.
He should visit a dentist for treatment, which includes medications to cure any gum infection, some teeth cleaning, and proper maintenance on your teeth. You should also know how to observe and practice proper dental hygiene so as to prevent repetition of dental problems.

When you smoke, nicotine is absorbed by the lungs, enters the bloodstream and makes its way towards the brain. There it binds to receptors for dopamine 7, the brain's reward chemical. This accounts for the feeling of well-being experienced when smoking and is the basis of most addictive substances' appeal8. Among people with depression, dopamine levels are often unusually low, so this is counteracted by the spike.
However, this short-lived effect is only part of smoking's appeal for the depressed or otherwise mentally ill person. Several studies have also shown that tobacco smoke acts as a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). 9,10,11 Monoamine oxidase is another brain chemical that is involved in the breakdown of dopamine. The studies found that levels of MAO were significantly lower in smokers than among non-smokers. This is interesting for several reasons. MAOIs are often used as anti-depressants, but have also been shown to help in the treatment of Parkinson's disease12. This may explain findings showing increased depression among people trying to give up smoking13, but also, controversially, the lower rates of Parkinson's found among smokers. When someone stops smoking, MAO levels gradually return to normal. This is likely to cause a reduction in the anti-depressant effects felt, and so the depression returns. Some studies have even shown that starting smoking can have beneficial effects for depressed non-smokers14.
Furthermore, dopamine is known to play a significant but unclear role in schizophrenia8. This is an area where more study is needed, but it may eventually offer some explanation for the dramatically high levels of smoking among schizophrenic people.

Ex-smokers are different. They are more sure of themselves, their actions and their consequences. Having persevered through the difficult battle, ex-smokers are mentally stronger than average.

Increases concentration.
People often go with the general sentiment on things like these, most of what you hear is hogwash. Cases of cancer are linked with smoking, but it's not proof. Only 1 in 3 of us will get lung cancer.
Smokers are a persecuted lot, since this habit has been banned from workplaces, restaurants, buses, subways and planes. You don't think they'd outlaw breathing for christ's sake.
Smokers have the only real community that's left in the workplace today.
Smokers suffer from less stress, since they actually take a few breaks per day.
That bruhaha about second hand smoking is a load of crap. it's just a phrase made up to get normal people who earlier didn't care about it, to go and further persecute the smokers.
It's cool to smoke. Ever seen a hacker or a real artist with a health shake?

no matter what benefits smoking can give, at the end of it, you will still have this health issues getting from smoking. i am a smoker and i have been getting a lot of chest and back pain and the shortness of breath, aside from that i also palpitate and it's good thing i have my MX Omega 3 Ultimate (http://www.maxalife.com) to eventually alleviate my problems with pain and inflammation. yes, indeed it's true that from smoking you will enjoy and you may relax with it, but the sensation isn't really good after all, it will just give you that highs but nothing is really interesting at all.
