Concentration and retaining information are problems that I have with learning. I can read for hours and hours, and not absorb two things that I read about. But what's interesting is that it comes out of me later. If someone brings up a topic that I read about, even though I didn't retain the information very well at that time, I am always able to remember what I read when someone else brings it up. It sparks my memory and stimulates my thoughts.

i am lucky enough that i am not having that kind of problem at the moment. before, i have been experiencing that kind of dilemma where i tend to forgot the things i just have heard, studied or encounter which is very disturbing though because even a simple thing i need to do, i should take note it first so i won't forget it. i have learned from a friend of mine that somehow food can play a big role when it comes to improving your memory and brain functions. she told me about yogurt, veggie, milk, banana, peanut, beans and a lot lot more. i believe that it doesn't lie on purely food but you also need to take some supplements (http://www.maxalife.com/mx-brain-swift/) and of course try to help yourself out by mental stimulation, they say it somehow works psychologically, it's like exercising your brain to improve your memory.
