Hello
1 American Cheese One slice has about 125 milligrams of bone-building calcium (children ages 1 to 3 need 500 milligrams a day; 4- to 8-year olds need 800 milligrams). As a melted topping, this mildly flavored cheese can make vegetables or pasta more enticing to picky eaters.

2 Baby Carrots Pack these beta-carotene-rich vegetables in sealed plastic bags to take along to school or soccer practice. For babies and young toddlers, steam carrots until soft, then cut into small pieces.

3 Baked Potato Serve this potassium-loaded, fiber-rich vegetable instead of greasy fries. It's lower in fat and a great base for nutritious toppings like chili, beans, or steamed broccoli.

4 Breakfast Cereal Fortified cereal is a top source of numerous vitamins and minerals, including iron and the B-vitamin folate, which builds blood cells. If your kids won't eat cereal that's not sugary, combine a sweet brand with a less sugary variety.

5 Broccoli Children get calcium and vitamins C and A in every bite. Many kids like it raw or lightly steamed so the vegetable stays bright green. Make pizza faces with broccoli, plant "trees" in mashed potatoes, or let kids dunk it in pasta sauce.

6 Cantaloupe One of the few fruits with both beta-carotene and vitamin C, it's a great alternative for kids who aren't big vegetable eaters.

7 Chocolate Milk In an ideal world, children would gulp down plain milk without complaint. But sometimes a little flavoring can make milk more appealing. And contrary to popular belief, the chocolate does not significantly hinder calcium absorption.

8 Eggs One scrambled egg is packed with protein, which builds and repairs muscles, and vitamin D, which helps the body absorb calcium.

9 Frozen Mixed Vegetables Peas supply protein and folate, a B vitamin, while green beans provide potassium. Toss them into soup as it heats, or cook and stir into leftover rice.

10 Ground Beef A top source of protein, iron, and zinc. Choose beef that's at least 90 percent lean to keep fat in check. Mix into chili, toss with pasta or noodles, or make burgers.

Great work and from sides for kids, I love the smell of lavender for a good many things. It's a favourite of many. It soothes the mind, the heart, and the soul. But not many people know that lavender is great to cook with. And it is great with a beautiful cut of bottom round.

Parents often overlook healthy foods and go straight to what they think are more "kid-friendly foods," such as hot dogs, pizza, french fries, chicken nuggets, juice and soda. Unfortunately, eating too many of those types of foods is likely contributing to the current childhood obesity epidemic.

Review a list of the best foods for kids that are healthy and kids actually like to eat, so that you can avoid many of the high-calorie, high-fat foods and kid-friendly foods that kids often end up eating.

More organic food is better and healthier for a child. I have a boy 3 y. o., and we are trying to feed him only with organic food.
They need everything, varied food, except chips, candies and other stuff, which must be significantly reduced.

Milk is a good source of calcium, vitamin D and protein for children and should be a part of the diet of all children unless you are allergic to milk. In fact, depending on their age, most children should drink 2 to 4 glasses of milk (low fat if they are at least 2 years old) every day, especially if they are not eating or drinking any other high calcium food.

It often seems like toddlers and preschoolers just can't get enough milk, but as they get older, many kids start to drink less and less milk. This probably isn't because they develop a distaste for milk, but rather because so many other drinks, including soda, fruit drinks and too much fruit juice, become available at home.

Milk is a good source of calcium, vitamin D and protein for kids and should be a part of every child's diet — unless they have a milk allergy. In fact, depending on their age, most kids should drink between 2 to 4 glasses of milk (low-fat milk if they are at least 2 years old) each day, especially if they aren't eating or drinking any other high-calcium foods.

Often, parents give healthy foods and go directly to what they think are food to children, such as hot dogs, pizza, fries, chicken nuggets, juice and soft drinks. Unfortunately, eating too many these foods can contribute to childhood obesity epidemic in progress.

Remember to introduce your kids to a variety of foods (means vegetables) at an early age to widen the list of likes over dislikes, offer lots of choices, even when your kids don't eat them. Some of the top foods for health of kids are fresh fruits and vegetables (especially carrot sticks, strawberries, oranges, watermelon), for non-veg' kids offer chicken breast without skin or breading, Wheaties, cheerios, or other whole-grain, low-sugar cereals,
Skim or 1 percent milk (Milk is not always a good choice, as ;many kids are lactose intolerant. If your child needs a quick pick-me-up, a fruit smoothie is great), fat-free corn chips or potato chips, low-fat hot dogs, non-fat ice cream or frozen yogurt, seasoned air-popped popcorn, whole wheat crackers.

Kids must have the calories they need daily and parents must check the food their kids are eating. Its better to plan a diet chart and give kids the food they need most as per that chart.

It often sounds like the child care and pre-school children can not get enough milk, but with increasing age, many children start to drink less milk. This may not be developed because they do not like milk, but because many other beverages, including soft drinks, fruit drinks and fruit juice too much and become available at home.

Most of the sugar intake attributed candy and soda, rather than dip into the sugar bowl. After candy, soda and sugar, the rest has come from books sweeteners like corn syrup in many packaged foods, ketchup, bread.

Hi
1. Milk : If your child is under 2, he or she should drink whole milk; full-fat dairy promotes growth and development in babies and toddlers. Kids over 2 should be drinking low-fat milk: it's packed with Vitamin D and calcium, for good skin and strong bones.

2. Whole Grains : Whole-wheat breads and cereals contain whole grains and fiber, which are good for the heart and digestive system.

3. 100-Calorie Snack Packs
There will probably come a point--or several points--in your life when your kids are begging for processed snacks like Oreos or Hostess cupcakes. Sometimes it's just impossible to deny them a treat. If you must buy these snacks, buy the pre-packaged 100-calorie packs: this way you can control the portion size, fat and sugar content. You can also buy healthier cookies such as Fig Newtons and make mini-portions yourself.

thanks
