is the most addictive substance on earth I do believe that one of the problems people have in breaking the habit is the overestimation of the difficulty in stopping.

People convince themselves that it is impossible to stop using nicotine when in reality it is as simple as making a choice.

Yes, one will likely suffer the physical withdrawal symptoms that occur and will desire the substance, but such a person must realize that they are making excuses to themselves when they make the choice to continue using.
