I haven't ever for more than a second. I think that everyone has had experiences where they have felt like this, but for most people it doesn't last long.

They are depressed then. I don't think that feeling like that every once in a while is any close to depression.

My question to anyone who feels this way: why don't you? I don't think that you should, but everyone who is depressed that I have asked that question has a unique and interesting answer.

I don't really remember the answers that I got.

I remember that one girl said that she "had obligations", such as taking care of her sister, being with her family and friends, etc.

What does this have to do with what we were talking about? At all?

You said that you remember a girl bla bla...and i said that i dont think many people are deppresed because of that, i think its more of a financial problem.

No...

That was the reason that she gave why she wouldn't kill herself, although she wanted to.

It's kind of weird that she put it that way. She made it seem like other people, like her friends and family, wanted her to live more than she wanted to live herself.

I also agree with you. Unable to add rep.

Anyhow, I also felt so, at times. When I felt guilty of the mistakes I have done knowingly and caught at my home. :D But I understood, changing myself to be good is easier than commiting suicide. Comitting suicide needs lots of courage and I don't have much.

I remember a dialogue from a regional Tamil movie: "What ever happens, life has to go on"
