Drinking is the biggest problem plaguing the world. To eradicate drinking, few state govt.'s in our country took the initiative and banned drinking in public, but then with change of govt. again drinking was allowed.

Oh boy, there a million side effects of drinking a lot. Jaundice, heart disease, kidney failure, ruining your bladder, liver dysfunction, brain damage, gastritis, and many many more to list. I am not going to ask you to stop drinking right now, but just keep it under control. You need to drink only on some weekends and especial occasions. I had the same problem, but now I have cut it back to maybe drinking once a weeks or every other week or so. Good luck.

There's a forum for this
You could ask how drinking parents effect the children, that would be a nice discussion.

well drinking is not a problen but excessive drinking and that too in front of children is a problem. it creates a wrong impression of their parents in their mind and they begin to think that its not a bad thing as his father does it too.

drinking within the limits your body can withstand may be fine but drinking heavily to get drunk are some of the serious problems..
heavy drinking not only damages your liver and other organs, it also makes you behave in an erratic behavior which is a threat to you and others around..

Well, I've heard children drinking wine in European countries and parents don't scold them also. But there should a limitation to how much they should drink.

Alcohol poisoning occurs when the body has a toxic reaction to too much drinking. Anyone who drinks large quantities of alcohol, or even smaller amounts of alcohol too quickly, is susceptible to alcohol poisoning. It can be fatal or cause serious brain damage.

Alcohol is bad for your body on many levels, but drinking in moderation does not hurt, it is necessary to deal with yourself, if you choose to drink responsibly, because alcohol is a drug. may be an alcoholic, and if you do not just affect the lifestyle, but definitely do damage to your body, in the long term.

Many people go out and drink at bars, sporting events, restaurants, and parties. In fact, drinking is so much a part of our culture that alcohol is a “given” at many social functions.

Due to the fact that so many people in our society drink, it is obvious that some of these individuals would exhibit drinking problems and engage in excessive drinking.

If you drink quite frequently it makes sense to ask yourself if you have a drinking problem. But how would you know if your drinking is a problem? Can you simply assume that frequent or excessive drinking automatically means that a person is a problem drinker?

With continuous drinking beyond control, alcoholism begins to interfere with all bodily functions and major organs like brain, liver, kidneys and heart are severely affected. Liver is the organ which gets severely damaged through alcoholism and cirrhosis of the liver sets in. Cirrhosis is a serious health condition and once it sets in, it’s difficult to regain optimal health.
