I really wonder with so many threads, they have nothing to do with mental issues. Please understand this is a forum for mental health. Eating disorders can lead to many dangers, some are self inflicted like anorexia.

Hello
Myth #1: You have to be underweight to have an eating disorder.
People with eating disorders come in all shapes and sizes. Many individuals with eating disorders are of average weight or are overweight.
Myth #2: Only teenage girls and young women are affected by eating disorders.
While eating disorders are most common in young women in their teens and early twenties, they are found in men and women of all ages.
Myth #3: People with eating disorders are vain.
It’s not vanity that drives people with eating disorders to follow extreme diets and obsess over their bodies, but rather an attempt to deal with feelings of shame, anxiety, and powerlessness.
Myth #4: Eating disorders aren’t really that dangerous.
All eating disorders can lead to irreversible and even life-threatening health problems, such as heart disease, bone loss, stunted growth, infertility, and kidney damage.
Its very nice to see discussion related to health. I wanted to know how one can maintain good Health (http://www.katom.com) in this fast moving world where there is no time for oneself and it becomes difficult to remain healthy. So please provide some information regarding that i will be highly obliged with all your expert comments.

Anorexia and bulimia are what I know. These can be very dangerous because eating disorders or subsequent starvation rob you of your health. Moreover it is difficult to come out of such disorders.

An eating disorder is defined as a disturbance in eating behavior that endangers a person's physical and psycho-social health. Anorexia and bulimia are two of the most common eating disorders. Throughout the last three decades, these illnesses have increased in their rate of occurrence. These are not just unusual eating practices, they are life threatening illnesses doctors recognize as treatable when detected early in their development. Since fitness professionals may come in contact with a higher proportion of sufferers, it is vital for personal trainers and instructors to be informed and ready to assist these people.

Undercut the competition, the prices may make WOW level sense - but it can also trigger fears customers that everything is cheap worth what they paid for it, warns Buckley.
