Because identity formation is a major psychosocial task in adolescent development, it's important that the individual form a healthy sense of who they are.
What are some ways for an adolescent to develop a strong, positive sense of identity?

The adolescent to grow as a strong, positive thinking person he will have to read positive thinking books and also attend classes. Positive thinking also comes from home, if you practice being positive and in home your parents are negative then it will serve no purpose.
the best way to help a child develop a strong and positive sense of identity is to let his imagination fly, never stop him from anything productive and positive. guide him through his failures and share his moments of victory.

well a child learns the thing from his parents and his teachers....so teacher especially should tend to know about the actual thinking of the child..this would help the child to reach the goal he wants to achieve....
