Parents responsibility

I have noticed many parents, who don't bother what their child faces when both of them are on their own money making worlds. The child's mind is tender when growing up, at least either of the parent should be attentive to their child. Please share your thoughts on how to look into this regular problem.

Well i totally agree with the thread starter....this type of rude behaviour of the parents toward their child put negative vibration in the mind of a child...child himself is not in that stage where he can understand what is right for him...so he just flows with that thing....

parents shouldn't argue with the child in small affairs and should be like a child while talking to them.......he is small enough to understand whether the thing is right or wrong...so the parents should avoid misbehaviour with the child.

Parents should help their children in every problem they face..but in todays world parents are really only worried about their wealth

Yup, a whole lot of parents are too busy with their careers and feel that they're doing their dues if the child goes to a good school and gets his weekly allowance. I know I'm a bit hard on this, but I've always felt that children and careers never go together.

The main thing is to show affection to thier children.Affection is the one that is the most important in one's life.They should also teach them discipline,and the main thing is that they should teach them to respect elders.

this is the most important topic in this forum.. parents have some basic responsibilities which they should cater everyday.. these are

to look after your child’s health, development and welfare
to provide guidance to your child
to maintain regular contact with your child if he/she is not living with you
to act as your child’s legal representative

one should follow above responsibilities

The parents could encourage some conversation and interaction with the kids, but sometimes the childm ightn ot want to interact or ave conversation with the parent, and in that case the parent could try to talk with the child.

I totally agree with all of you. Parents need to take care of their child. Even one parent should look after their child even after going for offices. Children also want their due attention from their parents as they can help them in any way.I believe that a mother should look after his child because children are hungry of mother's love & affection.Parents need to be responsible enough to take care of their children and give good moral values.

I totally agree with you people. Parenting involves providing children their basic needs, a safe environment to grow, nurture their identity and self-esteem and installing social and moral values, educating them and also providing love by spending quality time with them.

Yes parents should be very friendlier to their children and should educate them what is good and bad ,instead of living them alone.Parents play a very important role in the growth of their children.

Parenting involves providing a safe environment for their growth, providing for their basic needs, allowing them to develop their own identity, nurturing their self esteem, installing moral and social values, respecting them, educating them, spending time with them etc.
