I would like to know how is schizophrenia differnt from bipolar disorder.
My relative is said to have bipolar disorder.
How is it different from schizophrenia?
Some said Zyprexia will help his psychosis. What should I advice him?

Don't take medication without consultation your doctor.
The medication you mentioned Olanzapine or Zyprexa is a kind of antipsychotic and it is used mainly for psychotic disorders including schizophrenia as well as bipolar disorder.
It has got its own side effects and therefore should not be taken without professional advice.

bipolar disorder is quite different from schizophrenia..
bipolar disorder includes elevation+depression attacks ..
schizophrenia is slit personality..
so first consult doctor ..dont take any drug self..self medicaton is again harmful to body..
