I don't think that it is the case.Because when I was studying in engineering then I have two friends from my class which gone down under depression while there were 3 students of medical in our group who have no sign of depression.WHat I personaaly feel that it is just because of workload and when you are unable to balance it or meeting the deadlines of your work.
