I have a male friend who is bipolar and he smokes so much weed it's crazy. In this stage he is very calm opposed to when he isn't high he's a nutcase with a serious attitude. This is someone who will never take Meds. How do u get the disorder. Is it a chemical imbalance. His mother i believe was on drugs while she was pregnant with him

well this definitely will not help him changing his attitude towards life....this could be a temporary medication method to change his behaviour for a short span of time....

well this is not a medication technique.....the attitude of a man towards his life changes as the age of a particular changes....smoking might be a case which can change the attitude of the person but its not a medication treatment....

hey mate,
smoking will cause another problem and this is not a treatment for sure.. you cannot adopt a method which itself is a big problem and addiction.
proper medication will surely help

I believe to cure bipolar disorder smoking is surely not the right method.Smoking in this condition may create more severe problems.I would opt you to take some prescribed medications from the doctors.
