Major Depression: Major depression is probably one of the most common forms of depression. You probably know a handful of people who suffer from it

Atypical Depression: Atypical depression is a variation of depression that is slightly different from major depression. The sufferer is sometimes able to experience happiness and moments of elation.

Psychotic Depression: Sufferers of psychotic depression begin to hear and see imaginary things - - sounds, voices and visuals that do not exist.

Dysthymia: Many people just walk around seeming depressed - - simply sad, blue or melancholic. They have been this way all of their lives.

Manic Depression: Manic depression can be defined as an emotional disorder characterized by changing mood shifts from depression to mania which can sometimes be quite rapid.

Yes, my cousin had Major Depression. It may be common but it really affects the person it has a grip on. It really messed him up. I have never had depression and hope I and others never will.

I have seen my far cousin (now he is fine) he was addicted to alcohol and one day he started talking meaningless that someone is going to kill, someone is hiding in house Or my family is going to kill me.This is most difficult situation for family members as they have to keep a strict watch on him..
