Hydrophobia is common phobia.Many people suffer through this phobia.People fear to go pools and rivers because of the fear of drowning.You can overcome this problem by constantly going in pools and building your will power to overcome this phobia.Dont fear of the water and try to learn swimming first by having safety guards and then having free swimming.This can reduce your fear.

Hydrophobia is the second name for fear of water or swimming. This condition of fear is not there always. It only affects your brain when you stand facing a source of water, like a pond, river or sea. However, a mere sight of water in a glass, jug or tub does not make you feel apprehensive and nervous.
Common symptoms of hydrophobia
* You sweat a lot
* You find it difficult to utter words or make use of your logic
* You don’t know what you are doing – you tend to lose your rational sense
* Your mouth dries and you start shaking like anything
* As you feel suffocated, you can’t breathe
* Your heart beats faster and faster and you feel as if you are nearing death
* You are afraid to face reality and you experience full-scale anxiety attacks

I agree with you. Hydrophobia is the other name for fear of water or you can say fear of swimming even. When talking about fear of water it does not mean a bucket of water. It usually means fear of getting drowned in deep water conditions. Aquaphobia is however the other way of referring to this type of phobia.This particular fear form can make you go out of control or it may also cause disturbance in your daily life.
Hydrophobia as it is commonly known is caused either due to individual experiences or due to biological factors. You may have seen someone drowning or may have gone through similar experiences in life and this has caused the phobia.

Causes of Hydrophobia
Hydrophobia as it is commonly known is caused either due to individual experiences or due to biological factors. You may have seen someone drowning or may have gone through similar experiences in life and this has caused the phobia.
Some have the feeling that once they are in the water they may lose breath and get drowned. You may come across people who will tell you that they dream of being drowned at night. They just cannot stand the sight of water. They develop the insanity in their behavior.
Symptoms
* You suffer from lack of breath
* You tend to sweat a lot
* Your mouth becomes dry
* You start shaking
* Your heart beats faster and faster
* You are not in a state to speak or think clearly
* You are afraid that you may die
* You start behaving insanely
* You are afraid to face reality in life
* You may experience full blown anxiety attack

Hydrophobia is the other name for fear of water or you can say fear of swimming even. When speaking about fear of water it does not mean a bucket of water. Phobia of water (this is chiefly colloquial, phobia of water is usually called aquaphobia, see below, to differentiate it from rabies.
Hydrophobia is an older term for the disease rabies, and it means "fear of water." Because of this name, many people think that rabies makes one afraid of water. In fact, this is not the case (although rabies does cause mental confusion of other kinds). The name hydrophobia comes from the fact that animals and people with rabies get spasms in their throat muscles that are so painful that they cannot eat or drink, and so will refuse water in spite of being very thirsty.

So that's the reason why you are afraid. In the mean time we grow up, we never try things that hurted us. This is in your case that you would fell as drowning whenever you are near to pool of water. Certainly everyone has such fear but important is never be afraid, you can never succeed in life.

We don’t actually “treat”. Nor do we “cure”. You are the only one with the influence to change your perceptions. We simply walk you through the process that enables you to do so.
The process includes specific steps to gaining confidence, calm and happiness, as well as proven procedures for overcoming anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt and anxiety. These emotions have haunted you long enough. Isn’t it time to break that cycle of negative thinking?

The present invention relates to a process, preferably a continuous process, of coating a substrate, which allows water vapor and preferably air permeation, with a hydrophobic coating. The process preferably uses a thin film vacuum condensation step to create a monomer coating which is cured in situ after the coating. The process has the benefit of allowing continuous operation and providing an alternative to existing processes for hydrophobic coating. The substrates are coated such that the water vapour permeation sites are not blocked by the coating to maintain the desired breathability. The static water contact angle on the surface of such substrates is more than 95°. Such substrates are preferably employed in absorbent articles such as diapers, incontinence products, underarm sweat pads, sanitary napkins, catamenials, pantiliners, breast pads, shoe inserts of bandages or alternatively in protective garments such as gloves or rain coats for which water vapor transmission in particular from the inside to the outside is highly desirable.

Disorder characterized by extreme fear of rabies is a concern sink. Panic is often so intense that a person can have adverse effects on quality of life. Adults No data available for the occurrence of fear in the water, but adults often do not seek treatment. This is a case of many phobias and can safely be suggested that there is a large number of patients than the available data may indicate.

Hydrophobia is believed to stem from one or more early childhood experiences like drowning or seeing a friend drown. it is usually first noticed when a child has unwillingness to learn to swim, or even to get into a boat.Since panic and water are a dangerous mix, it is must to seek professional help for this phobia before trying out any self help.

Would it be possible for a person to determine the volume of their body without using a water-displacement test? Since density varies with body fat and muscle mass, you couldn't use volume = mass / avg. density.

Hydrophobia is defined as an anxiety disorder characterized by extreme and irrational fear of simple things or social situations. It may also refer to the extreme and irrational fear itself. Many people experience their daily lives. Almost everyone has some fear or another.

Doctors are certain that colorectal cancer is not contagious (a person cannot catch the disease from a cancer patient). Some people are more likely to develop colorectal cancer than others. Factors that increase a person's risk of colorectal cancer include high fat intake, a family history of colorectal cancer and polyps, the presence of polyps in the large intestine, and chronic ulcerative colitis.

Hydrophobic molecules tend to be non-polar molecules such other neutral and non-polar solvents.Hydrophobia is another name for fear of water or you can call the fear of swimming like. When talking about the fear of water in a bucket of water does not mean it.
