how aware are mental health proffessionals with PMDD?
i have PMDD but was 1st dianoised with bpd mood disorders anxiety disorder. as i have no gp so i cant recieve the proper treatment so i have to self medicate so plan to get pregnant and express milk for 5 yrs, this should level my hormones out for that time period. but as i havent recieved treatment and havent self medicated yet we dont no how much mental health issues would interfere with my life. the specialist and i beleave the extream behaviour is the PMDD, but phobias are mental health issues
i and others have found quite a few of us has either been diagnosed with bpd or bipolar. the symptoms are simalar to both but if left untreated PMDD gets worse as its a hormone inbalancement.
PMDD is not reconised by my mental health team. its all new to them.
if thats the case with most mental health teams, could an awareness project be launched?
