It could be normal for children not to take regular food. As long as your doctor is not concerned about him, don't worry too much about it.

Hello
If you or someone you know is living with an eating disorder, there is no substitute for professional help. Eating disorders that go on for many months should be investigated by a qualified health professional. However, there are things people who suffer from eating disorders can do to help themselves.

Developing healthy relationships with food, exercise and your own body is an essential part of the recovery / prevention process of any pattern of disordered eating, so here are some basic self-help tips.
Eat regular meals

Eating three meals a day including breakfast, lunch and dinner is a good place to start. Some people prefer to eat five or six smaller meals each day, this is fine, but remember it is your overall calorie intake each day that is important (2500 kcal for men and 2000 kcal for women). Try to avoid skipping meals and do not wait until you are starving, as you are more likely to overeat at your next meal. Choose healthy snacks such as fruit, nuts, and yoghurt in between meals if you are hungry.

I think this is normal for some kids. My cousin who is 5+ yrs old don't eat much food but seems to be more interested in junk foods. Although he has been prescribed an appetizer by our family pediatrician but it does not help but the kind has sound health condition whatsoever.

It's important to remember that eating disorders can easily get out of hand and are difficult habits to break. Eating disorders are serious clinical problems that require professional treatment by doctors, therapists, and nutritionists.

Eating disorders are serious behavior problems. They include:

Anorexia nervosa, in which you become too thin, but you don't eat enough because you think you are fat
Bulimia nervosa, involving periods of overeating followed by purging, sometimes through self-induced vomiting or using laxatives
Binge-eating, which is out-of-control eating

Women are more likely than men to have eating disorders. They usually start in the teenage years and often occur along with depression, anxiety disorders and substance abuse.

Eating disorders can cause heart and kidney problems and even death. Getting help early is important. Treatment involves monitoring, mental health therapy, nutritional counseling and sometimes medicines.

The big question here is why is he not eating and that needs to be looked into further. Even if the primary doc doesnt see an issue--if his parents are worried they have every right to get a second opinion. Eating issues can be physical or emotional and doesnt mean he has a classic "ed" but a symptom of something else such as anxiety, etc.

try giving him food that he like the most. Usually children refuse to eat. By cutting down on snacks and junk food, you may get children to eat better when they finally sit down at the table.

Even if you have stopped bleeding, which disappointed her at times that are typical of a bulimic to act on this behavior. In general, this is not something that goes like this, then maybe you were testing, but do not become addicted.
