Treatment Dementia

is Dementia can be cured by any treatemt ? There is an opinion that moderate intake of alcohol on a regular basis can diminish the chances of dementia.

I am afraid there is no cure for dementia. It is a progressive condition and memory and functioning of people with dementia will decline with time.

But there are antidementia medications which could slow down or delay the progress.

May be moderate alcohol consumption might reduce the chance of heart related problems and it therefore may reduce chance of so called "Vascular Dementia".
