As the world's population is ageing, would be great to know how many people are suffering with dementia?

There are millions of people suffer from dementia as there are more older people than before. But it is hard to say exactly how many people suffer from dementia as there are many people with dementia living in community without being diagnosed and they could manage to do so if their family memebers are supportive.
