Depression due to love??

Hello friends,
How many of you get depressed if you do not get your beloved? Is it right to get depressed and leave the world at its end or commit suicide?Many people get mentally disturbed if they fail to achieve their beloved and think to end their life.Is it correct? Please send me your views on this.Thank you.

Many feel sad if they don't get the love they want. It is very normal and it is not depression. Depression is only diagnosed if one feels more or less continously for at least 2 weeks with other features such as low energy, reduced interest in activities.

Well there are so many of people in this world who take this type of depression very intensively....I am also one of them...I use to live in the hostel as I am in my college days but still I feel homesickness because of parents who are the beloved ones for me....Some people feel the same thing because of their girlfriend...

that is true when you are far from the one you love or when you love someone and they just keep ignoring you its a kind of depression.
