bipolar syndrome and playing video games

Does anyone know if there is a correlation between bipolar syndrome and playing video games. Does playing intense video games make the bipolar syndrome worse?

I am not aware of any definite relationship between playing video games and bipolar disorder.

I don't know of any issue regarding bipolar disorder and playing video games.
I could see someone in a mania episode perhaps playing a lot of video games though because of the extra energy.

Im severely bipolar and I've spent many hours playing video games. I can sink my whole being into an mmorpg. For me its an escape from reality. I like pretending I'm someone else because my real life sucks so bad.

I have severe manic bipolar disorder, and playing video games helps distract me from being a retard out in the real world.
