depression is such a disorder that is being faced by majority of people in one way or the other.
many face it due to their work or job,while many face it due to their family members,students face it during exams,businessman face it during their loss in business....
so depression is faced in the hard or difficult face of life..
some times this depression takes the tendencies of suicide which is very dangerious.
so what do you all think about the remedy of depression?
please feedback.

Well i think that every person, should be aware of keeping there depresion low, especially Old people, as a heart attack is fatal. Maybe if it was more advertised on T.V and newspappers, saying that deppresion can do this and that, than it would be reduced, for example smoking, it is greatly reduced in world now (not completely) (which will never happen) but atleast try to reduce it. I can tell that some days i also feel a bit deppresed. But i try to calm myself.

Well, the way most people live their lives today, is it really possible to not be depressed at least once in your life time. I am not talkinng about just being sad for a day or two. I am talking about a major depression that could last up to a period of a half a year. I had a similar experiance, but I am not gonna talk about that. The thing is, you cannot escape major stress no matter who you are. I guess it's just a matter of the way you think about things. If you a pessimistic person, you're screwed.

Sure. Depressive episodes can be triggered by life events such as financial troubles, relationship break up, loss of jobs etc...

But clinical depression is ONLY diagnosed if you got low mood more or less for at least 2 weeks. It is quite normal if you feel sad for a few hours or even 2 to 3 days if you have life events. But sadness is not classed as depression.

I also get depressed because of my business, so i cannot say i am alien to this problem entirely. I get out of depression by playing cricket game in computer for a while and slowly start to focus on other things. So far this method has been helpful to me, maybe others can also try.

Greenpixy, i am not saying that you wont be depressed atleast once in life, but try to control your deppression, so you dont get damaged yourself. Always think about the light aspect, never the bad. I also get depressed sometimes, and it is hard to control, but it IS, controlable.

According to me a littlebit depression is necessary for every person to live their life....otherwise life is so easy to live.....i am facing so many problems in my educational life, but i am ready to face them from thye front.......that's how the life goes.....

ur right priyank . depression an interior killer... It is always good to have our depression at a lower level. if our depression starts ruling us then life will go mad & it will become a slow poison ..... Don't take ur depression so deep in ur mind .... which drains ur life & you'll remain , just a lifeless body ....:mad:

ever person is having some or others problems we should not be depressed for it......

every people do the mistakes. they don't take a step of suicide. majority of people face the problem of exams and problems of office and loss of business but they don't take any action of misappropriate. every individual have some depression so don't any unnecessary action which is harmful of your family. it my suggestion.

It’s a snappy title and I should get more traffic than normal. More importantly though, is there an easy, formulaic, 5 step method for overcoming depression? The answer is no, definitely not. If there was we wouldn’t be having a depression epidemic.

There are literally dozens of articles with similar headings to the one above. When I see them I immediately wonder if the writer has ever been depressed. Mental illness is anything but simple. Depression describes a broad spectrum of mood disorders, and there are many and varied treatments that provide different levels of success. Any “tip sheet” is by its nature superficial.

At the same time, such articles can be helpful. They aren’t normally written by medical or health professionals, so they provide input from outside traditional medicine. They give many ideas for lifestyle changes; ideas that won’t necessarily overcome depression by themselves, but nonetheless may be helpful to differing degrees for different people.

I’ve put links to a sample of articles below; some good and others pretty poor. I’ve summarized the tips from each so you can easily look further into what interests you.

Yes it is surely an interior killer.. After all everyone has problems so all should learn to face it boldly..
