For a long time I've had trouble getting good sleep. Most of the time when I wake up I feel tired for most of the day. The thing that bothers me the most is I often have brain fog. My mind seems to be operating at 60% or less sometimes. When I have a fog episode I also have trouble speaking fluently.
I just remembered something that happened to me about five years ago. I went swimming at the river near my niece's friends house. I was out in the water swimming for a good bit a became very winded. When I got back on land I was really dizzy kind of like being drunk, things were kind of spinning a little. The strangest thing happened after that. That night I got into bed and fell asleep in about five minutes. Usually it takes two to three hours before I go to sleep. For the next two weeks I felt absolutely wonderful. Wonderful sleep, no anxiety of any kind which I usually have and a wonderful sense of well being. After two weeks things returned to not sleeping well, anxiety, etc.
Another thing I want to mention.... When I wake up I usually have brain fog. I am a musician I sing and play guitar. I've definitely noticed that after about 15-20 minutes of singing my brain fog has decreased by 30-40% or so. Do you think I have a problem with enough oxygen reaching my brain?
Thanks
